Val Hilliker has been entertaining for over three decades with her wacky since of humour and her cast of zany characters.

In 1977 she read a how-to ventriloquism book and ended up performing her first show 30 days later. She was hooked. By 1979 she was playing to thousands at the Jubilee auditorium. She studied comedy and improvisation with Joe Flaherty from the famed TV show SCTV, and Judy Carter, who wrote the Comedy Bible. 

She has spent thousands of hours bringing joy and laughter to schools, theme parks, hospitals and fun events internationally.

Val is making news around the world with her ground-breaking creative shows. With over 200 shows a year, performed for all ages, she’s constantly raising the bar on family-friendly entertainment. She has had the honor of representing Canada twice at the World Ventriloquist convention, in 2005 and 2008, reinventing ventriloquism for the 21^st century. She has been called a cross between Ellen DeGeneres and Sherry Lewis, creator of Lamb Chops. And her technique can only be described with one word – magical.
